The idea was inspired by the Garden's original purpose. The site offers a serene yet dynamic environment, shaping the canal garden's vision. Essential architectural elements are integrated with the forest canal's characteristics to create diverse and engaging spaces that are desirable, observable, livable, and swimmable.
Modern gardens respect tradition through an artificial system, while ancient gardening methods arise from the belief that gardens cannot be rigidly defined. We aim to preserve traditional wooden construction while using interlocking architectural components to define pathways that blend with the landscape.
In this design, the bridge acts as the "Main Beam," anchored at the steps and supporting three "Secondary Beams" that extend outward, upheld by natural "Stone Pillars." This configuration creates a harmonious trio of structures—a "Pavilion," a "Bridge," and a "Kiosk"—scattered throughout the landscape. Their spatial arrangement forms an "Opposite Scene," connecting the natural landscapes on either side of the river.
